The rotation from the motor is transmitted to the disk, causing the holder on the disk to rotate in the opposite direction. This method allows for the composite centripetal acceleration to increase in proportion to the square of the optimal rotational speed by having the directions of rotation be opposite to each other due to the absolute centripetal acceleration from the revolution.
